With plans to enhance production capabilities for offshore wind energy and modern energy infrastructure, the initial phase of the facility is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2027, with full operations anticipated by the first quarter of 2028. The site for the facility, which encompasses 96.6 acres, was previously known as The Chesapeake Deep Water Terminal and was acquired on March 25, 2025.
