Hold onto your hats because Homecoming week is packed with activities that everyone will love! The excitement starts on Thursday, October 23 with the ODUAA Alumni Honors Celebration. This celebration recognizes our outstanding alumni who have contributed significantly to the ODU community and beyond.
The fun continues on Friday, October 24 with the Homecoming Fireworks Celebration at the ODU Sailing Center. There’s something magical about fireworks crackling in the night sky, and this event is sure to light up your evening!
The grand finale takes place on Saturday, October 25, during the Homecoming game against Appalachian State. The day kicks off with the Annual Homecoming Parade at 11 a.m., followed by the thrilling game. Fans will have the chance to reconnect with old classmates at the Alumni Association Tailgate and the National Panhellenic Council Reunion Tailgate. There’s no shortage of fun to be had!
This year, ODU is also embracing a spirit of community engagement with the Monarchs Give Back food drive. Led by ODU President and First Lady, this initiative encourages everyone to participate and support those in need. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the ODU family to come together and make a difference.
The official game times for both Family Weekend and Homecoming will be announced in coordination with the Sun Belt Conference’s partnership with ESPN, expected within a 12-day window before the events.
