The “Pedal the Parkway” event will close a 7-mile stretch of the Colonial Parkway to vehicles from 7 a.m. to noon, allowing residents and visitors to run, walk, and bike in a safe environment while taking in the picturesque scenery. Over 30 volunteers will be present to assist participants with tire pumping, safety inspections, minor adjustments, and bike education, ensuring that everyone is ready for safe cycling adventures.
